Sheer Music are proud as punch to be inviting ANDY OLIVERI to Devizes. He has performed at festivals such as Wychwood, Lake Festival, Lunar Fest, Sportsbeat Festival and 2000 Trees this year, released a excellent single, performed a BBC West Introducing session and cultivated a lovely beard.
His unique voice and fragile songs are enough to give you goosebumps just listening to them, let alone like the force of experiencing it live this Friday (November 8th).
Andy joins a fantastic and growing pedigree and history at The Lamb in Devizes; a venue that has seen the likes of Jim Lockey, Beans On Toast, Frank Turner, Dave McPherson, She Makes War, Josie Ghost and hundreds more perform over the past 6 years.
Being signed to Cheltenham’s istartedthefire records, the label that gave Jim Lockey & The Solemn Sun their first break, is proof if you needed it that Andy is a quality act.
“Growing up reading the lyrics and liner notes of dusty old records have left Andy Oliveri nothing but a storyteller. Echoing the spirit of Neil Young and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, he writes simple folk songs with his heart on his sleeve and words from a bared soul.” – istartedthefire records.
“One of the nicest men in the world…” Gaz Brookfield

Support for the night comes from an equally as exciting young act, HENRY GREEN. The Malmesbury based soloist should need little introduction; he performed earlier in the year before he hit festival season with shows at Greenman, Sherston Fest, Figure 8, Fieldview, Phoenix Festival, Beach Break Live and Oxjam Bristol.
He recently opened for London Grammar at the newly reopened Anson Rooms in Bristol. Keeping such good company is a sure sign that Henry is making the right moves, so we should be proud he’s from Wiltshire.
