Sheer Music & Songs Of Praise Present…. Brawlers & Max Raptor

It is with great pleasure that we can announce SHEER MUSIC will “hand over their pop punk baton” to fellow Swindon promoters Songs Of Praise in April, with a co-promoted show, as the Brawlers & Max Raptor co-headline UK tour swings into town.

Alcopop! signed BRAWLERS, are a Leeds based super group, featuring members of Dinosaur Pile-Up, Castrovalva, Leftover Crack and Martyr Defiled, who only formed a year ago! With festival appearances including 2000 Trees & Y Not Fest and copious tours under their belts including Nine Black Alps and Decade, this band have come hella’far in a short space of time. See the video below for a very straight forward insight – You’ll either like them or hate them based on one, 2 minute song. It doesn’t get less complicated than that.

Punchy, catchy, infectious pop-rock that’s only aim is to have fun – Sound like something you’d dig? Of course it is.
Oh and they’re about to tour Europe with Set It Off. Neat.
MAX RAPTOR hail from Burton-On-Trent, having formed in 2006, managed to release 2 albums. Mothers Ruin (2013) and Portaits (2011). Also veterans of the touring and festival circuit, they even had their song, The King Is Dead  feature on Xbox/Playstation game Dirt:Showdown 2012

Support for this tour comes in the shape of Brazilian punk rock band, WATER RATS. Not that we’re counting, but we’re pretty sure we’ve never had a band from Brazil before. They sound a bit like Suicide Tendencies. Also fast and fun.
