‘Adrift’ music video from I the Mighty

I the Mighty has released a brand new video for their song ‘Adrift’, which is taken from their full-length album, Connector, set for release in the UK on 1st June via LAB Records / Equal Vision.

The footage accompanying ‘Adrift’ is a dynamic montage of the band performing, along with colourful bursts of both worldly and out of this world visuals which may seem abstract but do in fact relate directly to the song itself. It’s an emphatic yet whirlwind three minute journey. Vocalist/guitarist Brent Walsh explains “‘Adrift’ is one of the more meaningful songs on the record for me lyrically. I’m sure we’ve all had a day in which we were reading up on world events and got really down about the current state or direction much of our home is headed in. This song was written on one of those days.”

I the Mighty released another song from Connector with another visually unique music video upon announcing the record’s release. The video for ‘Playing Catch With. 22’ uses modern drone technology to capture aerial images of the band, making for a surreal and colourful video. Check it out below:

The forthcoming full-length will include 12 new songs of I the Mighty’s best work to date. Without a particular goal in mind, and effortlessly achieving a sound that combines pop, rock and heavy music into a flawless musical amalgamation, the four piece have brought an incredible new album that highlights their formidable skills as musicians and songwriters. Connector features soaring vocals with meaningful lyrics, and intricate guitar parts that are eloquently written and recorded with precision. It was produced by Mike Green (Pierce The Veil, Paramore, All Time Low).

I the Mighty, who have toured with Say Anything, Eisley, Coheed & Cambria, letlive., Balance & Composure and Architects UK, recently supported Enter Shikari on a two month US tour and they’re currently in the midst of a series of dates leading up to a full US headline tour with support from Hail The Sun and Too Close To Touch in June and July, to which additional dates have just been added.
