Hindsights stream new track ‘Cloudy Eyes’ // Announce further UK shows for March

With the release of their debut album fast-approaching, four-piece Berkshire alt-rock outfit Hindsights have announced another clutch of live dates. These follow a stint supporting Milk Teeth around the UK and a special album release show at The Garage in London on 17th Feb.
The album ‘Cold Walls/Cloudy Eyes’ will be released on 23rd February 2015 through UK indie label Beach Community and the band are now streaming a new track from the record, ‘Cloudy Eyes’, here. The song was written about a week before the band went into the studio and came together very quickly. Maybe the most pop-influenced music on the record.

‘Cold Walls/Cloudy Eyes’ was recorded over two weeks in June 2014 at HQ Studios in Manchester with Bob Cooper (Nai Harvest, Self Defence Family, Brawlers). Additional production and help with tracking the record came from Tom Richfield, credited in the recording of the Departures/Moose Blood split EP and also on Hang The Bastard‘s album.

The emotion invested in Hindsights’ music and lyrics more than comes across in the band’s heartfelt live show.

The track-listing for ‘Romantic Errors of Our Youth’ is as follows :

1. Annabel
2. Drink & Dial
3. Holding Back
4. High Again
5. N.O.R.E.S.T.

10. Romantic Errors of our Youth

Already having garnered plays on Radio 1 and XFM, lead track “Drink & Dial” is currently available to stream right here:

Comments frontman Harry George Johns, “This song is about trying to not make those calls, those mistakes we all make, often after alcohol, mostly after heartache – but I’ve made these mistakes and I’m telling you now, don’t not drink and dial, just don’t drink!”.

Brawlers will also be main support to Real Friends on their upcoming UK tour :

March 19 @ Sound Control, Manchester
March 21 @ Asylum, Birmingham
March 22 @ Underworld, London

Further touring plans, including various festival appearances will be revealed in due course.

“Hands down the best new live band in Britain, Brawlers are making the kind of impact on the gig circuit Gallows had back in 2007- you come away from their shows elated and ready to punch someone in the face just to prove how alive you are. Fantastic pop tunes and a grimy punk edge.” – Drowned in Sound |
