While She Sleeps @ The Globe, Cardiff – 01/06/17

Despite the early hour, We Were Wolves open the show with a solid set to a packed out audience. Enthusiastic as the crowd were, if you weren’t into the band before, it’s unlikely that’ll have been changed by their show tonight.

So you’ve fronted one of the most lauded over hardcore rock bands of the mid 2000’s, you’ve successfully kick started a solo career with a schizophrenic double album of crazy metal and random acoustic wizardry, and you’ve just left Xtra Mile Recordings in search of pastures new… Guess that calls for a tour then right?

The Louisiana invites the boys of supergroup Freeze the Atlantic to take centre stage on Easter Sunday to expose their third studio album ‘The People Are Revolting’.

Andy Oliveri & The Mountaineers / Jim Lockey @ Frog & Fiddle, Cheltenham – 14/04/17

Andy Oliveri & the Mountaineers bring their indie college rock vibes to the quaint town of Cheltenham in the celebration of the release of debut album ‘Call Them Brothers’ and what better way to do that than hitting the road and sharing the tunes. They start their journey in the town’s favourite rock pub Frog & Fiddle, who recently installed a new improved sound system to show off the tunes in the best possible way.

Real Friends @ Thekla, Bristol – 13/04/17

Forced to postpone their UK tour back in December to take time to address their personal lives, Real Friends make their return to Europe, this time with the assistance from Atlanta’s Microwave and New Jersey’s Can’t Swim. Taking place in Bristol’s iconic ship-shaped Thekla venue, it’s the twelfth night into the quintet’s European tour and it was a sell-out show to remember. With such a brilliant, intimate venue, even fans at the far back of the deck will still get the full experience.

The Hotelier @ Stereo, Glasgow – 21/01/17

With the release of 2014’s fantastic sophomore record Home, Like NoPlace Is There, Massachusetts emo quartet The Hotelier cemented their place as one of the stand out bands of the emo revival scene which has taken alternative music by storm over the past 4 years. Tonight they returned to Glasgow to play a sold out show in the basement of vegan café Stereo to promote their most recent record Goodness.
